This advanced safety role requires a motivated individual with a proven track record in loss prevention and may involve attending continuing education courses. Corporate Risk Management and other Fire Safety Officers provide professional guidance to the Fire and Safety Manager.Key Responsibilities
    • Manage the occupational safety and health program for the entire facility, including regular inspections and hazard identification.
    • Establish and implement effective emergency preparedness plans and conduct scheduled fire drills.
    • Investigate accidents and determine root causes, provide safety training to new hires, and conduct monthly safety committee meetings.
    • Ensure safe practices for chemical handling, sanitation, waste removal, and monitor outside contractors' activities.
    • Responsible for budgeting input and providing weekly and monthly activity reports to the Facility Administrator.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
      • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field highly desirable.Experience
        • Five (5) years of experience in safety and loss control preferred.
