to $34 per hour Hybrid Role- Downtown Los Angeles Are you
passionate about equitable compensation practices and ready to make
a meaningful impact? A leading California-based nonprofit is
seeking a Compensation Analyst to support and enhance its staff
compensation programs. This role plays a key part in ensuring
compensation remains competitive, equitable, and aligned with
organizational goals that support community-focused work. What
You'll Do • Maintain and administer compensation databases and
tools • Support the implementation of compensation strategies and
related initiatives • Partner with Staffing & Recruitment on new
hire offers, promotions, and internal moves • Evaluate jobs and
maintain accurate job descriptions and job architecture • Conduct
job evaluations and provide written salary recommendations • Assist
with the annual compensation review process (merit, bonus, equity)
• Conduct audits for data accuracy and compliance • Research market
trends and best practices to inform compensation policies • Ensure
compliance with state, federal, and local compensation regulations
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and cross-team
collaboration • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and
inclusion in all work What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; or
equivalent experience • 2 years of experience in compensation
analysis or administration • Strong analytical and
data-interpretation skills • Clear written and verbal communication
abilities • Ability to collaborate across teams and build strong
working relationships • Strong attention to detail, critical
thinking, and organizational skills • Flexibility and adaptability
