Job Description Job Description Develops and maintains detailed cost estimates for major and/or multi-year projects, including scope take-off, estimate labor, materials, contract, indirect, and allowances, and maintain (and reconcile) various versions of cost estimates Facilitates review process to ensure cost estimates are accurate and structured in a manner that meets major and multi-year projects or program requirements (e.g., work breakdown structure, Continuous Property Records, FERC/CPUC jurisdictional splits, and cost elements/drivers) Performs complex and detailed research, updates, and data gathering/analysis in areas of cost estimating (e.g. unit pricing, market trends, economic feasibility study) Collaborates with and obtains data/information from various project stakeholders; ability to communicate effectively and develop and maintain strong working relationships with team Prepares project controls data request responses and work papers in supporting corporate/OU governance (e.g. Business Oversight Team and Capital Review Team), internal/external audits, General Rate Cases, and any pertinent regulatory filings. Provides training in areas of expertise to develop future project controls professionals. Education: A combination of education, training, and experience, generally equivalent to those typically possessed by a 4-year college graduate Required: 3 years estimating experience in construction, civil, or electrical utilities Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software, plus Project Controls and Cost Estimating software Preferred: Engineering background or Mathematical background Utility construction, CA regulated, regulatory, and EPC estimation experience Ineight experience is a strong plus Company Description Resolute LLC is a professional services to corporations in the area of project management, project controls, estimating, administration, financial analysis, technology, and supports.
