Job Description Job Description Job Title: Spooler Operator Job Description The spooler will be responsible for receiving orders on a scanner, verifying materials with an RF scanner, measuring and cutting wire to the correct order length, labeling and taping wire, and moving it to the shipping department. 2nd shift: 1pm to 9:30pm $22.50/hr Contract to Hire Responsibilities Operate various forklifts and ensure safe handling of materials. Handle lifting requirements of 60lbs and above. Use basic hand tools and operate a spooler machine. Measure, cut, and spool wire according to specifications. Label and package wire products accurately. Maintain inventory levels and report any discrepancies. Operate wire-cutting machinery and hand tools safely. Essential Skills 1 year of experience with reach, sit-down, and cherry picker forklifts. Proficiency in using RF scanners and spooler machines. Experience with pallet jacks and inventory management. Competence in order pulling and using hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Warehouse or general labor experience. General knowledge of electrical products is a plus. Good communication skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Garden Grove, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
