(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Sign
Language Interpreter to provide essential communication support
within educational settings. This role involves working closely
with students and staff to facilitate effective communication and
ensure equal access to educational content for deaf and
hard-of-hearing students. Key Responsibilities: Interpret spoken
language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during
classroom instruction and school activities Facilitate
communication between students, teachers, and staff to promote an
inclusive learning environment Assist with school events and
meetings requiring sign language interpretation Maintain
confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards Travel
to various school sites as required to support multiple locations
Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
with strong interpreting skills Experience working in educational
or school settings preferred Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to manage travel between assigned
locations efficiently Commitment to supporting diversity, equity,
and inclusion in the classroom Location: San Diego, California This
