This position will provide support to the MIM Engineering Department to ensure engineering project deadlines are successfully achieved and may require partnering with cross functional teams as well.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for working closely with other engineers, mold makers, and production associates to manage process development, product changes, process improvements, and for MRDR remediation.Project management task such as; meeting schedule agenda, minute follow-up on assigned task.Regular reporting of progress to the engineering team, both verbally and through written reports.Maintain and revises Engineering Document (ECR), generate (SOP), Manufacturing Control Instructions (MCI)Provide training to associates in the proper use and operation of engineering documents and /or tooling implementation.Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow.Perform investigation on Material Review Disposition Record (MRDR) as well as dispositioning and closing MRDRCreate, document and control all CAD related to tooling and fixturesDesign and conduct experiments to validate product quality and consistency.Aid Production with Work Order Paperwork such as WO management and creating WOAssisting in engineering task and projects when neededPrepare high quality deliverables on KPIs including DM KPI reports, presentations and communications for a variety of audiences (departments, operational managers, and leadership)Perform others duties as assignedCRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:Unquestionably high ethical standards and attention to reputational and compliance risksLack of ego; team-first mentalityStrong analytical and mathematical skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with many levels and types of peopleVersatility, flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Problem solving and solid business decision making skillsFollows directions well and is a self-starter in identifying what is critical to the success of the project. Minimum 1 year experience creating and manipulating Microsoft Excel to create engineering models for data analysis, trend tracking, and creating charts for reports/meetings. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Exposure to mechanical/mechanism design fixture for high volume.Hands on experience with products or fixtures that require machining, fabrication and assembly.Some understanding of injection molding and experience working with moldsAbility to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate rates, ration and percent to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to discern trends, and analyze operational and financial reports.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and operating procedures. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
