Job Description As an Engineering Electronic Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling prototype and production PC Boards for space applications and defense programs. You will be responsible for soldering tasks, both through-hole and surface mount, and performing PCB assembly based on blueprints, schematics, and engineering sketches. Responsibilities Assemble prototype and production PC Boards for space and defense applications. Perform soldering tasks, including through-hole and surface mount techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Conduct repair and rework under J Standard specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine prototypes. Build, troubleshoot, test, and reassemble components adhering to space requirements. Maintain detailed documentation throughout the assembly process. Essential Skills 5 years of experience in soldering, including through-hole and surface mount techniques. 3 years of experience in assembly for space, defense, or aerospace products. Proficiency in interpreting assembly and engineering drawings. Experience with J Standard, NASA Standard, and IPC certifications 610, 620. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a cleanroom environment. Familiarity with space flight hardware and electronics. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
