A company is looking for a Senior Manager - State Advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Assess state legislative and regulatory proposals affecting the CPA
profession
Develop advocacy strategies to address legislative and regulatory
challenges with state CPA societies
Prepare policy position papers, testimony, and briefings for state
legislatures and regulatory agencies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, law,
business, or a related field
12+ years of experience in state government affairs, advocacy, or
public policy
Knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes
Experience working with lawmakers, agencies, and business
associations
