ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES--- Maintain records of Client care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager.--- Provide Clients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs or automobiles, and with dressing and grooming.--- Change bed linens, wash and iron Clients' laundry, and clean Clients' quarters.--- Entertain, converse with or read aloud to Clients to keep them mentally healthy and alert.--- Supports Clients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household supplies, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands.--- Assists Clients by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.--- Helps Clients care for themselves by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene.--- Helps family members care for the Client by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the Client.--- Advises on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.--- Records Client information by making entries in the Client journal and notifying the Home Care Director of changing or unusual conditions.--- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy Client environment by following asepsis standards and procedures, maintaining security precautions, and following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.--- Reminds Clients of their medication--- Accompanies Clients to Doctor Visits--- Assists with socialization and activities--- Supports Family Through Changing Behaviors--- Assists with Daily Living Activities--- Encourages Engagement--- Maintains a Safe Environment--- Assists with calling a taxi or transportation--- Assists with Exercise Plan--- Provides bedside companionship and comfort--- Helps Transition to New Environment--- Ensures Compliance with Safety Precautions--- Offers one-on-one conversation--- Escorts to Facility Activity or outside for some fresh air--- Enables Clients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording Client condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.--- Monitors Client condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.--- Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements.--- Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.--- Performs other related duties as required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:--- High School Diploma or GED--- Current CPR certification--- TB test--- Registered on the Home Care Aide Registry (If not, we can provide guidance)--- Must have a valid in-state driver's license--- Reliable transportationNote: A background check and DMV record clearance will be conducted.
