Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor &
Delivery RN with a California license and advanced certifications
for a night shift position. Responsibilities - Work in the Labor
and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital - Level II Trauma
Center with Magnet and teaching hospital status - Night shift
schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00) - Required
to work at least 2 weekends every 6 weeks, including potential
Friday night shifts - Patient ratios are 1:2 - No on-call
responsibilities - No floating required within or outside the unit
- Handles a caseload ranging from under 100 to over 300 births -
Uses Cerner for charting; experience preferred - First-time
travelers are welcome to apply - Scrub attire has no specific color
requirements, but camouflage and character patterns are not
permitted - Free parking is provided - Holiday work is typically
required, with restrictions on requested time off during holidays -
Local candidates will be considered Requirements - Active
California RN license required at time of application - Minimum of
1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience - Certifications
required: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (all 11 components),
and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) - Experience with vaginal exams
and newborn care required - Ability to safely care for varying
