Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/18/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU assignment in a Level II Trauma Magnet hospital requiring a CA license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Responsibilities - Work in the Trauma ICU unit of an acute care hospital - Level II Trauma Center with a Magnet designation and teaching environment - Patient population includes high acuity trauma cases - Travelers may be floated to other ICU/TELE units as needed - Day shifts (3x12 hours) from 7:00 to 19:00 with weekend shifts required - Charting is completed using Cerner EMR - No on-call responsibility is required - Free parking is available onsite - No specific scrub colors required, but no camouflage or character patterns are permitted - Up to 7 days of time off and 1 holiday off can be approved - Modules are completed during orientation and average 3-6 hours depending on specialty - Candidates must not have worked at the facility within the past year - Locals are accepted at the same rate Requirements - Active CA RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required - Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - First-time travelers are accepted - COVID vaccination required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629011.
