Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong tele experience for night shifts in a Level II Trauma Center. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the ICU of an acute care hospital with potential floating to Telemetry and Med/Surg units - Night shifts (3x12 hours), 19:00 to 07:30 - Weekend shifts required as part of scheduling - No specific scrub color required, but camouflage or character patterns are not allowed - Uses Cerner EMR system - No on-call responsibilities - Floating to other ICU, telemetry, and med/surg units as needed - Facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level II Trauma Center with 412 beds - Responsibilities include providing critical care and monitoring for ICU patients with the possibility of caring for telemetry and med/surg populations when floating - Team-based environment with support from experienced hospital staff - Must submit all requested time off prior to offer, with up to 7 days and 1 holiday off approved - Free parking available for staff - Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated - Local candidates are accepted /n /n Requirements/n - Active and current CA RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years recent ICU/telemetry experience required - Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - First-time travelers accepted - Cerner EMR experience preferred - Must be able to float between ICU, telemetry, and med/surg units /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-655930.
