Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative team. This role focuses on supporting students with special needs in educational settings, enhancing their ability to succeed academically and socially. The ideal candidate will assess students' needs, develop and implement occupational therapy interventions, and collaborate with educators and parents to create inclusive educational environments that foster student growth. Evaluate students' functional abilities and daily living skills through comprehensive assessments. Develop individualized intervention plans to enhance students' sensory-motor and cognitive skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom. Monitor and document students' progress and update intervention plans accordingly. Provide training and consultation to school staff and families regarding occupational therapy strategies and adjustments. Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and tools Ability to create and implement detailed therapeutic plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and education Proficiency in documentation and patient management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of employment. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification.
