Requirements: Required Certifications: BLS Required Skills: Adult Outpatient Clinic, Physician’s office, Autorefractor, Lensometer, Oct and Fundus Photography, Humphrey visual field analyzer, Obtain and record medical history, Applanation Tonometry, Basic Eye Exam, Checking Extra-Ocular Muscles, Checking Vision Near and Distance, Confrontational fields, Corneal Topography, Measure and record visual acuity and color vision testing, Perform auto-refraction, Visual Fields, Chart Preparation, Clean and sterilize and maintain surgical instruments/ equipment, Filing, Patient teaching: dressings, Stocking/Ordering Supplies, Prepare patient for exam and surgeries, Record History/Medications/Allergies, Inform physician of preliminary findings, Perform intraocular pressure measurements, Place dilating drops in eyes as ordered, Assist Ophthalmologist during examinations and surgeries, Labeling of specimens, Patient teaching regarding ocular medications, Pharmacy calls for refills, Follow up phone calls, Universal precautions Job Details: Pay: $1350/week - $1580/week Assignment Length: 13-week assignment Shift: 5, 8-Hour 08:00 - 17:00 At least one year of experience required Aya delivers: The most jobs in the industry.
