In this job, you'll be the primary strategic resource to leadership within an assigned set of Operating Units (OUs,) providing thought leadership, guidance, and support to executives, leaders, and employees at all levels of the organization on HR/people related matters and is the face of HR in the OU. This requires business acumen that will be demonstrated by staying connected to big picture OU priorities and needs, lower level business objectives as well as building an understanding of financial and resource health in order to more strategically advise. You will leverage their overall knowledge of human resources programs and practices to provide a cohesive view of strategic and tactical people efforts.     • Support and drive the development and lead the execution of people strategies for assigned OUs.
    • Partner with HR COE to influence the design of operational plans, execute and improve HR processes/activities.
    • Establish goals, negotiate, develop and manage people strategies that directly align with the organization's strategic plan and business goals as well as HR policies and practices.
    • Function as a strategic thought partner to collaborate with and influence the decisions of business unit leaders.
    • Diagnose workforce planning analytics, forecasting future business unit impact, and create innovative solutions to support the building and retaining of a high performing workforce.
    • Interface with personnel across all levels of an organization. (e.g., staff, management, executives).
    • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Qualifications
      The essentials
      • Ten or more years of HR experience.
      • Five or more years of experience in a HR Generalist and/or Business Partner role serving a large organization.
      • Two or more years supporting and/or leading projects. The preferred
        • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Human Resource Management, Leadership/Organizational Development, I/O Psychology or related field.
        • Experience supporting technical organizations.
        • Experience with supporting large-scale organizational change.
        • SPHR Certificate, Project Management Certificate, Prosci certification.
        • Possess strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
        • Maintain a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices. You should know ---
          • This position's work mode is hybrid.The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
