This position plays a vital role in supporting patient recovery by preparing and delivering nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and compassionate environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, portion, and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and patient needs Deliver meal trays to patient rooms and collect them after service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and food prep areas Assist with dishwashing, restocking, and general kitchen duties Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection?control procedures Provide friendly, respectful service to patients, visitors, and staff Qualifications Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast?paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation (training provided) Ability to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift Must be available for both 1st and 2nd shift schedules What We Offer $17/hr starting pay Raise opportunity up to $19–$21/hr after 90?day training period Full benefits package and 401(k) Supportive, team?focused work environment Opportunities for growth Meaningful work that directly supports patient care and recovery Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Venice, FL.
