Job Description The Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test is a senior member of the technology group who works closely with the product management and development teams to thoroughly understand project requirements, business objectives, and manage the end-to-end testing efforts from design to post implementation. Key Responsibilities Leads and defines test automation framework Utilizes established development and testing tools, guidelines, and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript Designs, implements, executes, and debugs test cases and scripts Creates and executes automated scripts to test Windows applications, web applications, and web services Defines quality gates and maintains quality metrics for different environments in CI/CD pipeline Finds bugs, defects, regressions and verifies resolutions Participates in code reviews and supports technical documents Performs SQL scripting to mine and prepares test data and test results Defines best practices for test automation, black box, and white box testing Maintains existing software systems by identifying, tracking, and verifying remediation of software defects Investigates and develops skills in new technologies and software tools Creates new and extends existing operational test documentation Participates in peer reviews and walkthroughs Anticipates and analyzes problems in order to provide input to mitigate potential risks Consults colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems Keeps abreast of current and emerging technologies, how they integrate, and drive value for LERETA Requirements Bachelor---s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or other technical field (combination of education and experience may be considered) 7 years in SQA, SQE, or development, with a majority of time focused on software quality of large-scale online applications and services. 3 years in a dedicated SDET role Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools (with demonstrated experience in a SDET role) Extensive experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools (Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, or others) Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and Oracle Experience with Web Services testing Experience with RPC technologies such as SOAP, XML-RPC Experience testing external APIs Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and C# Preferred Education & Experience Financial services or property tax experience Experience in microservice and cloud, such as Azure and AWS Containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes Strong Performance test experience Modern monitoring and tracing tools, such as AppDynamics, Splunk and DataDog Company Description Since 1986 LERETA's nationwide team of real estate tax and flood professionals has provided the mortgage and insurance industries the fastest, most accurate and complete access to property tax and flood information across the nation.
