Manager will lead the strategy, development, and execution of title
data and workflow products within DataTrace. This role is
responsible for shaping the product vision and roadmap, aligning
cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions that materially
improve the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of title
solutions. This is a high-impact role operating in an
accuracy-critical, regulated environment. The Group Product Manager
will apply modern data and AI-assisted capabilities to evolve title
products while ensuring trust, compliance, and operational
effectiveness. This role is intended for a senior product leader
with prior experience in the title industry or closely adjacent
public-records or regulated data domains. The ideal candidate has
owned complex data products end-to-end and can operate with minimal
ramp up time. This is a hands-on, player-coach role. While
responsible for leading a product team, this leader is expected to
remain deeply involved in complex product decisions,
prioritization, and system-level tradeoffs. Job Description What
You’ll Do – Product Leadership & Strategy Own and evolve the
product vision and multi-year roadmap for title data and workflow
products in alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
Define the strategy for expanding title data platforms, including
ingestion, integration, and normalization across diverse
public-record and title data sources. Chart the course for the
future of the business with modern data, AI-assisted workflows,
data extraction, and workflow automation. Prioritize initiatives
that improve data quality, scalability, operational efficiency, and
overall business impact. Identify new opportunities in the real
estate, title, and data landscape to expand market share and
customer value across the title lifecycle. Partner with executive
leadership on product direction, financial and strategic
objectives, and go-to-market decisions. Execution & Delivery Lead
the product team to build and deliver production-grade title data
and workflow solutions. Collaborate with engineering, data, and
design teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems and workflows.
Ensure clarity and alignment around product requirements, success
metrics, and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement. Define
and operationalize quality standards and review processes that
improve trust and reduce downstream friction. Guide vendor and
partner strategies related to data providers, platforms, and
supporting services. Customer & Market Focus Engage with title
insurers, agents, underwriters, abstractors, and operational
stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and
opportunities. Stay current on title industry practices, policy
structures, and regulatory considerations to ensure product
relevance and differentiation. Translate insights into actionable
product strategies that drive adoption, retention, and expansion,
focusing on measurable outcomes. Team Development & Leadership
Mentor and grow a high-performing product team, including product
managers and domain-aligned subject matter experts. Champion a
customer-first mindset and pragmatic product practices across the
organization. Drive alignment across departments to ensure smooth
go-to-market, customer onboarding, and ongoing enablement for
title-specific workflows. What You’ll Bring – Must Haves 10 years
of experience in product management, with 1–3 years leading teams
of product managers. Proven track record of delivering complex,
high-impact products and leading cross-functional teams. Ability to
set long-term product strategy while remaining closely engaged in
execution and delivery. Strong problem-solving mindset with a
willingness to roll up your sleeves and stay closely involved in
execution and iteration. Data-driven decision making, with
experience defining and analyzing metrics that inform product
direction and prioritization. Strong written and verbal
communication skills with the ability to influence and align
diverse stakeholders around product strategy, priorities, and
tradeoffs. Domain Experience (Title & Data Products) This role
requires prior experience operating in the title industry or
closely adjacent public-records or regulated data domains.
Successful candidates will be comfortable working with complex,
accuracy-critical data products that support real-world operational
workflows. Hands-on experience working in or closely with the title
ecosystem, such as a title insurer, large agent, data provider, or
title-focused technology platform. Working understanding of how
title and public-records data is structured, indexed, and
maintained, including how jurisdictional variation in recorder
practices and document standards impacts data quality, search
behavior, and chain-of-title outcomes. Experience owning or
contributing to document- or record-based data products,
particularly where data is derived from semi-structured or
unstructured sources and used in operational or decision-support
workflows. Familiarity with core title data challenges such as
linking parties, properties, and records over time, and supporting
confident decisions when data is incomplete, inconsistent, or
ambiguous. Comfort operating in accuracy-critical and regulated
environments where product decisions have direct downstream
operational, financial, or compliance implications. Familiarity
with title policy structures and operational handoffs across
search, examination, clearance, and closing. Nice to Haves
Background in real estate, geospatial data, risk modeling, or
large-scale public-records platforms. Experience with B2B SaaS or
data platforms serving institutional clients. Exposure to modern
AI/ML techniques applied to data-intensive or workflow-driven
domains. Familiarity with industry trends related to title,
eRecording, or adjacent real estate technologies. MBA or advanced
degree a plus, but not required. Additional Details Reporting Line:
Reports to Director, Title Products, Division Product Management.
Location / Work Mode: Hybrid in Santa Ana, CA, or remote with
periodic travel. Travel: Approximately 10–20%. Pay Range:
$148,600.00 - $198,200.00 Annually This hiring range is a
reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the
time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may
include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business
requirements and geographic location. Note that the following
