Salary: $14.00 - 15.50 per hourReference: 80488Position: PACKER-HIRING NOW $14.00-$15.50Industry: FOOD PRODUCTIONJob Type: TEMP TO HIRELocation: POMONA, CAPay Rate: $14.00 for 2nd Shift and $15.50 for 3rd shiftAvailable Shifts:2nd Shift - 2:30pm to 11:00pm M-F plus every other Sunday - 10 openings)3rd Shift - 11:00pm to 7:30am M-F (currently starting at 10:00pm - 10 openings)Job Description: Snelling has an immediate opening for Packers in Pomona, CA. This position will be responsible for packing production in a food manufacturing environment. The packers should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:Inspects raw materials against quality standards before loading raw materialsInteracts with team members, quality assurance and maintenance to maximize output and efficiencyWorks as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages and improve operationsCross trains to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as neededPacker Requirements:Ability to work in fast paced environmentPrevious food/beverage experience a plusBasic Math and Reading SkillsMust be flexible, willingness to work holidays and weekends when necessaryPacker Skills:Two or more years prior experience in production or food production preferred but not mandatoryAbility to follow GMPS and work in a clean and organized mannerBenefits:Medical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance after 30 days401K (eligible from start date, matched after 1 year)Weekly Electronic PayTo Apply: Interested candidates should apply online.
