Job Description:

This is a uniformed, unarmed security guard position that works independently. Officer will be responsible for the pool monitoring of residents, residents guest and non residents. It is not a life guard position, the position requires 40 hrs per week including and not limited to weekends and Holidays. Our Dispatch maintains the CAD logs of all Officers activities. This position may require periods of standing, walking, bending, indoor and outdoor in all aspects of weather. Officers report activity in 30-60 minute intervals, and may be required to complete monitored guard tours (Detex) throughout their shift. Summer uniform will be a polo and uniform shorts.

Security Officer Basic Qualifications :

Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.

No felony convictions

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Negative result on pre-employment drug screen.

Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard, with availability to work weekends and holidays.

Neat and professional appearance.

Friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to provide quality customer service.

Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.

Job Requirements:

Valid California Guard Card is required before employment (NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY)

Comes to work; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned). This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (for positions that require driving company vehicles)

Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.

Understands and successfully executes his/her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations.

Ability to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
