production/supply plans that take into account forecasts,
availability of material and manufacturing capacity. Is responsible
for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters
in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material
supply plans. May also be responsible for providing materials to
manufacturing areas based on planned production schedules and for
the appropriate shipping of finished goods to various distribution
centers utilizing material handling equipment in support of
management policies for customer delivery and inventory levels.
Includes planners and inventory control roles.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Releases and manages production work orders in
accordance with Level Load, Kanban signals, production plan goals
and related planning data.Places and manages purchases orders in
accordance with Level Load, Kanban signals, production plan goals
and related planning data.Determinate level load production run
rates for assigned value streams based on PSI (Production, Sales
and Inventory) conditions to meet financial goals.Works closely
with manufacturing and supplies to prioritize, expedite and
de-expedite work orders and purchase orders based on material
availability, department resources, changing requirements and
customer service requirements.Manage the assigned value streams
including the management of inventory turns improvement, backorder
reduction and coordinating activities with other planner buyers and
departments.Participates in the new product development process and
supports supply chain planning activities at the new product team
level.Manage, monitor and update Kanbans for assigned value streams
and production cells.Lead EMS's and Kanban implementation,
including calculation of the bin quantity and size, coordinating
supplier requirements and daily management requirements.Analyzes
production plans and plant capacity, lead times, safety stocks and
lot sizes to determinate resource requirements and
constraints.Participates in cross-functional project teams related
to planning, purchasing and process improvement
initiatives.Participates in the new product development process and
supports supply chain planning activities at the new product team
level.Have strong working knowledge and apply the principles of
planning/pull system, AMU and projected balance calculations.Have
understanding of lean manufacturing and JIT principles including
EBS tools and how to apply them in the appropriate situation.Manage
and maintain inventory levels to the company goals at the raw,
sub-assembly, WIP and finished good levels.Participates in
Inventory Reduction Action Plan and LIVE DIVE board with fellow
planners.Drives IMAG dive boards actions weekly. Supports Finished
Goods Scrap and Short Shelf Life / Damage process improvements.Job

ExperienceQualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in business,
manufacturing systems, supply chain management or purchasing and at
least 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing and/or
