stage, lead improvement initiatives and strategic oversight in
developing internal guidelines and procedures.

Develop project baseline, coordinate and perform scheduled updates.
Develop schedule reports and other analytics for use by Management
in response to corporate requests for capital program and project
information.
Perform in-depth schedule impact, variance analysis and assist with
development of cost loaded schedule include consulting services to
project stakeholders to address, document and communicate any
changes/trends that impact:
Critical path, earned value, schedule workarounds and resource
utilization.
Budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts.
Exercise responsibility over work order closure and close-out
issues.
Establish and maintain effective dialogue with clients, project
team members and management to support, monitor and forecast
schedule and budget performance. Ensure understanding of drivers of
schedule and cost performance through regular interface and/or
meetings with project team members as appropriate
Engage management teams to discover opportunities and develop and
execute projects to deliver solutions to promote enhanced
performance.
Qualifications
The essentials
Five years of experience tracking project progress and
schedules.
Experience in project controls including scheduling and/or
cost.
Experience in utilizing Primavera P6 Scheduling Tool/System.
The preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering,
Construction Management, or equivalent technical/financial
discipline.
Experience with electric utility construction and large capital
projects.
AACEI/Project Management Certification (i.e. PSP, CCP, PMP, EVP,
etc.).
Experience Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint,
Visio, Project etc.), SAP, and SharePoint.
Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the
business and services to improve customer happiness and efficiency,
manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans,
manage information, and provide outstanding service to internal and
external customers.
Strong oral/written communication skills and be able to present
technical information in simple, non-technical terms to all levels
of management.
You should know
This position's work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to
an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work
remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees
are required to reside in the state of California. Further details
of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

This position will require site visits dependent on projects,
including potential overnight stays.
This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position -
Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a
Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once
hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to
gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing
necessary job duties.
