ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in Indio, CA
is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to
support students communication development throughout the current
school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an
SLP-A passionate about helping children improve their speech and
language skills in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing
therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders
Provide direct therapy services under supervision to K-12 students
Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate
with educators, therapists, and parents to support student success
Participate in team meetings and contribute to individual education
plan (IEP) development Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid
SLP-A certification or licensure Experience working with children
in a school environment preferred Strong understanding of speech
and language development in children Excellent communication and
organizational skills Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt
therapy activities to individual student needs Location: Indio,
